"With the presentation of iPhoto we have ported the entire collection of iLife apps to iOS and the users will love it," says Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President Worldwide Product Marketing of Apple. "Whether you get a photo with an effect, shoot a movie trailer or jam with friends to record a song together, iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand enable you to create incredible works with iPad and iPhone."
iPhoto, Apple's favorite photo app, was completely redesigned for iOS to fully exploit the Retina display and the intuitive multi-touch gestures of iPad and iPhone. With simple gestures you can select photos, compare them side by side and mark the best shots. iPhoto gives the user complete control over color, exposure and contrast. This simply touches the parts of the image he wants to change. You can improve pictures by adding the beautiful effects created by Apple with just one touch or making adjustments with the fingertip brush exactly where you want them. In addition to providing images on Facebook, Flickr and Twitter, photos can be exchanged between iPhone and iPad, images and slide shows can be streamed to Apple TV with AirPlay and iCloud can be used to publish photo journals online and share their stories with friends and family in a completely new way.
iMovie makes it possible to convert HD videos to iPad and iPhone into great movie trailer like from Hollywood and even during filming. The new theatre view offers the user a preview: he can choose from nine templates in a range of genres including Fairy Tale, Superhero and Romance. Trailers offers great, customizable graphics with film music written by legendary composer and Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer and recorded by world-class musicians such as the London Symphony Orchestra. In addition, the movie trailers can be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook and streamed to Apple TV with up to 1080p in high resolution via AirPlay.
