In 2011, I started a Lenovo z470, and now it has been some years. I was interested in its appearance, but now I think its performance is its short board. However, in order to work, I bought a high-performance computer. Now I'm thinking about how to deal with this little Z. some people suggest that it should be sold as scrap, but in any case, it has followed me for so many years, and I can't bear to give up. With a thrifty attitude, I decided to spend more money and upgrade it in an all-round way. After searching for some information on the Internet, I began to sort out the ideas as follows:

Update content: replace the original part of hardware (sound card, network card, shell, keyboard, etc.)
Upgrade content: add memory to 8g, and add SSD
System replacement: black apple system

Among them, the most tedious one is to install black apple system, which has high technology content. The first two are easy to implement (only cost money). With a goal, I will start to purchase things from Taobao. I spent more than 800 times before and after, and finally I have gathered all the things I need. OK, then I will start!

Replace upgrade parts

For the replacement of objects, there is not much introduction here, as long as you can dismantle the machine. Before dismantling the machine, check the machine online more. According to the tutorial, do not dismantle the machine blindly. Adding memory module is also relatively simple. It is also to query the compatible memory module model of the model first, and then purchase the corresponding mount. As for the installation of SSD (solid state drive), my approach is to remove the optical drive, put the original mechanical hard disk into the optical drive (need to buy a tray), and then install the SSD into the original mechanical hard disk. After all of the above, small Z has made a comprehensive and large upgrade from the hardware (it is not recommended to change the graphics card and CPU, which may damage the main board, and its improvement effect is not obvious). Next is the focus of this article, replacing the apple system.

Install black apple

Preparation stage

First: online data, online data, online data..... Say important things several times, and learn to find out the answers by yourself.
Second: find out whether there is a successful case of installing black apple on the computer of the corresponding model. If not, I think it's time to give up (unless it's a technical man who specializes in black apple, don't try it easily). I was lucky enough to check the Internet and found many successful cases of small Z installing black apple.
Third: according to the successful online tutorials, download the required software and copy the successful online route. Required software: Chameleon boot program, lazy version, image hard disk assistant hfsdiskgenius Pro 4.30

The preparatory work is done, then you can start to work!

Install the chameleon boot program

Open as administrator: if you click Install and there is no response, you need to open the computer disk management (right click the computer, management), assign the drive letter to the 100m hidden disk (note that you can't assign the a drive letter, and the rest can be assigned). After assigning, reopen the chameleon installation program and reinstall. After the installation, three hidden files will be generated in C disk or 100m system hidden disk. These three files are the guide files of chameleon.

Install HFS

Double click directly to run it, install it all the way, and use Baidu as your own.

Partition computers

First, allocate an area of 8G size. Be careful not to format it. (used to put the OSX installation program, which is equivalent to the hard disk installation disk) then allocate an area with an unlimited size. Be careful not to format it. (used to install OSX, equivalent to C disk of windows)

Open the hard disk assistant

Write the downloaded system disk (I used lazy version, 7.5G size) to the newly allocated 8g size disk, and it will take a few minutes...

Set the two disks (8g, not the upper limit size) just divided to AF. Right click to change the parameter to AF.

Place EFI files in the root directory of the installation disk

That is, put it in the 8g size root directory. Note: if you open explorer and can't see the 8g disk, you can restart the computer and have a look. It's really not. It's estimated that there is a problem with the partition, so you may need to reinstall the system.

EDID injection

There is a config.split file under EFI, which needs to be replaced with the EDID of your own computer (the replacement method is Baidu). This file is the configuration file of the clover boot, which is very important.

Replace clover.iso with wowpc.iso

Rename clover.iso to wowpc.iso, and then replace wowpc.iso under C disk or hidden disk. In this way, the chameleon guide will directly jump to the clover guide.

Installation phase

During the installation, the most important thing is to see whether the logo of the card or the black screen will be displayed. If these two situations occur, most of them are caused by the config.split configuration file. If everything is normal, you will successfully enter the installation interface. When you choose which disk to install to, you need to first select the disk tool on the menu bar to find the disk to be allocated to store the OSX system, and then select erase. The format is OS (log format), and then return to the installation interface. You will find that you can select the disk to install.

Drive configuration

After the installation, it will be almost ready to use, but the wireless card driver and the sound driver have not been completed. Install the wireless network card driver: change the wireless network card 2a to 2B. The method is that finder enters 10.11 system disk system / library / extensions /, finds io82011family.key, right-click to display the package content, finds / contents / pluglos / airportatheros40.key, continues to right-click to display the package content, finds contents / info.pilst, opens it with plistedit pro (install the software by Baidu itself), finds:

Code, change 2a in the third line to 2B, save and exit, then repair and rebuild the cache with kcpm utility pro.app, and restart. After restart, the wireless network card should be able to drive successfully. Install the sound card driver: that is, applehda.kext driver. After removing system / library / extensions / applehda.kext, install it with kcpm utility pro. The path is also system / library / extensions /. After the installation, rebuild the cache.
